After testing the Bay's New HT power supply, the 758 has now been powered up with no ill effects.
Some noise is heard in the headphones, the RF gain control is broken, it rotates endlessly to will need replacing. The switches on the front are broken, but still seem to work OK.
It is nplanned to set up a demo unit based on an Arduino and DDS to provide Port/Starbord  and Fore/Aft signals of different strengths to demonstrate the operation of the unit.
